Yorkie pups for sale in Washington?
I really want a Yorkie puppy, but I am having problems finding reasonably priced Yorkie pups in Washington state- preferably in Pierce County/Seattle area. I want a small Yorkie, but all the teacup ones I've seen are much more expensive. Could anyone help me find a somewhat cheap Yorkie pup for sale??
Thanks so much!!
Have you considered having a puppy shipped to you.
I know all about the dangers of shipping, I am a breeder and I have to ship 98% of my puppies.
I am in a small town and the buying possibilities are very slim.
When you deal with the Internet and buying from an unknown breeder it is a whole world of SCAM ability.
There is so much you have to be wary of.
Most sites that cater to the sellers have notices posted on the things to ask about and avoid. Just be very sure you have everything in writing and clearly understood between both parties before any money exchanges hands. Be sure you get the number for their vet, that wont prevent them from cheating you, but at least you will know the person and the dog is real.

Putting aside the fact that reputable breeders do not breed "teacup" anything……
The reason the ultra-small dogs are more expensive to buy is because they are more expensive to raise. They have small litters, often need c-sections and have lots of health problems.

Contact the AKC (American Kennel Club) in your area and they will put u in touch with breeders of yorkies.
If you just want a yorshire terrier for a companion then I breeder will sell you a yorkie for "less money" that has very minor faults that will not make it a good choice for a compition show dog…ei: maybe it is a little too big. Or maybe the tail is a little too curly.
But you probably wouldn't even notice.
