Do yorkie puppies hair thin out ?
We have a almost 5 month old yorkie puppy, and his hair is turning gray and looks like its thinning out a little bit. I know that most yorkies hair turn gray but is it normal for it to look like its thinning out?
A puppy's coat will change and some are not in full coat until two years of age but that is usually for med-large dogs. Your little Yorkie will lose some of it's baby coat and go through a thinning process before it gets its "adult" coat.
This is assuming that your puppy is in good health and has been checked by a veterinarian.
