Yorkie puppies??
Regarding other Q on Yorkies. New 4 day old puppies were in the bathtub and friend was supposed to watch them over weekend and now 1 puppy is nowhere to be found. Would mother yorkie has eaten it if it were sick or did "friend" take it?
Probably something happened to the puppy (because of carelessness?) and your "friend" is afraid to admit it.

The mother would not have eaten it. She would have neglected it and let it die but she would never have eaten it no matter how sick it may have been. This "friend" definately took one. There is no way that puppy could have gotten out of the tub and since the momma wouldn't have eaten it, the only explanation is that this person took it. They are worth a lot of money, papers or not.

I'd sure suspect the friend if there was no sign of blood. Also if no other animal had access to the pups. Also maybe the friend didn't pay attention when the dog was let outside, and the dog had a pup in her mouth and took it outside.(?) Just guessing.

it is very likely that the mother might have eaten it, sometimes when the mother feels that her puppies are too much to handle, if she feels she has had too many, she might react in this way

they can eat puppies sometimes.

i really really doubt that..but you can check the poo for bones….but i really doubt she did…..females usually in the animal world dont do that…a male would…..id say your friend took it….one way to check is check her poo for bones.then you will no…no bones in the poo..then your friend took it…..i would say your friend took it

More then likely the so called friend took the puppy cause the mom of the puppys will abandon a sick puppy not eat it expecally it being 4 days old,,, cause Yorkies are pretty expensive with or without papers so the friend probably took the puppy and sold it or took it to be able to sell it later after it is older,,, I hope you find the puppy and if you can prove the friend took it then you can press charges on her for theft,,, That is just wrong to take such a small puppy from its mom,,,,, Like i said I really hope you find the puppy for its sake cause im sure it misses its mom and the mother miss it too

Friend , or one of her friends, took it..Some breeds will eat a puppy, but not a Yorkie..
