i really want to get a yorkie puppy at a low price but i don't want to drive around too much.
Great opportunity to get a REAL yorkie pup instead of an unhealthy pup from a backyard breeder!! (the price is really no different, and NEITHER should be called cheap). GOOGLE Yorkshire Terrier Clubs in CA right now, and find out where the next show is. Visit the show, and you are able to ask around about which dog has a litter. Only Aces and Grand Champs usually breed, so you will be getting the best, something that has been tested for genetic defects (the parents will be tested i mean). You will spend less on vet care.
I warn you now cuz u said "cheap" dog ownership is far from cheap. Average costs are 1500 a year, for 12-16 years.
If you can afford a dog but don't want to pay a breeder, then petfinder.com will list many Yorkie rescues that have pups and older dogs in need of good homes!! =) I love Yorkies!!

check these guys out

Yeah, you're going to get one from a byb or a puppy mill if you expect a low price. Check http://www.petfinder.com for one in a shelter near your area. Or check the AKC website, find a reputable breeder and pay for a healthy, well bred dog. Either way, you'll be paying a lot of money, if not in the initial cost, then in vet bills if you pay for a cheap yorkie from a breeder.

back yard breeders are con artists, and they fake papers, many have HIGHER prices than real breeders!
NEVER get a pet store dog, they are almost half dead when they are sold.
Please don't buy….adopt! ;D You're saving a life!!!
