How big was your yorkie puppy at two three months old?
I'm interested in getting a puppy and I know the breeders like to keep them until they are about 10 weeks old. Usually, how big are the at that age?
My male yorkie was 2.8lbs when he was 10 weeks old. I took him from the breeder straight to the vet for a check up so we know the exact weight.

By standard an adult doesnt get bigger then 7-8 pounds.
So i would say at least 3.5-4 pounds.

That all depends if the yorkie was bred right…which i'm hoping it was. Normal size yorkies from what i've seen weigh anywhere from 5-9 pounds as adults. At weeks i would guess for them to weight around 2-3 pounds…hopefully

Size varies. Keep in mind, the general rule of thumb for Yorkies is to triple the weight at 8 weeks, double it at 12 to get an estimate of what the adult weight should be. The standard is 'not to exceed 7 pounds.' So if at that age, what you estimate is over 7 pounds, then you will likely be buying a dog that does not fit the breed standard, which reputable breeders strive for. Also, don't just take for fact what the breeder 'tells' you the dog weighs…find out and see if for yourself.
Yes, there are Yorkies that end up weighing mroe than 7 pounds, but as it is not the standard, you should make every effort to get a dog is the appropriate weight and avoid breeders not breeding to the standard.
