My puppy’s eye is completely red, more in one eye than the other but both eyes are red. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him but its looks bad. I just got him groomed, so I really can’t say if this just started or not. Let me know if you can help me.
he could have pink eye but I wouldbe sure and take him to the vet. I would also might think that the dog could have reuptured a blood vessel or have something may have scatched it but I would highly recomend taking him to the vet

Take them to the vet to find out for sure, but it sounds like the stress of grooming may have caused him to burst a blood vessel which can be harmless but kinda scary and gross.

My poodle once got red eyes, one more so than the other. It turned out to be a reaction to whatever soap he was bathed in at the groomer’s. I had to take him to a vet and they prescribed veterinarian eye drops. It clearned up very fast, once I started using those drops. Anyway, you might want to take him to the vet.
Just wanted to wish you a wonderful life with your Yorkie. I lost mine last year to cancer of the bladder. She was my heart. What amazing little critters they are. Mine used to copy everything that I did, which was especially funny when I trimmed the cabbage palm frawns in Florida. The first time I noticed that she was trying to do what mom was doing, I heard her growling and carrying on behind me. When I turned around, I found her tearing up a baby palm tree that she had found. They are my favorite breed of dogs.
