Introduce them again but on neutral ground, where neither dog can claim ownership.
They should be friendlier to each other as the ground isn't theirs, (no territorial issues)
After a few days meeting on neutral ground the more aggressive dog should be brought to the submissive dogs house. Then if that goes well after a few visits take your (mild mannered) dog to your dads house, the dogs should hopefully have gotten used to each other in the other environments so there shouldn't be too much of a commotion. but like others have said, it could take a little time & some miner squabbles but the dogs will accept each other because from the dogs point of view 'their meeting the friend they made at the park'.

hi i breed yorkshire terrior dogs, although yours just wants to say hello, the best thing you can do is just let them sort it out on there own,put them in a room together, and just leave them, they will become friends eventually.you have just got to give them time

My dog and my partner's dog (both Yorkies) didn't get along at first either. Now they are best friends. Watch them and allow them to get along… It takes time.

Give them time to get to know each other if your dads dog isn't trying to attack yours then he is just telling yours that this is his world and he is the alpha male. Yorkies are good dogs but they are terriors and very territorial but they get over it normally. It just takes time.

Just give them some time. Schedule regular play dates to get them used to each other. I wouldnt reccomend leaving them alone together just yet but let them sort it out under your supervision. They will learn to get along and maybe even like each other but even if they don't learn to like each other they can learn to tolerate each other.

that's what my Yorkie does he's really friendly but when theres another dog he'll snarl- this is because the other dog is passing its territory or is getting more Attention!
