i am looking for a yorkie terrier located in the galveston area . willing to pay 150to175?
hi everyone i am looking to buy a yorkie in the galveston area or houston. please if you have any info please notify me thank you
the reason is because these people from camrooen are saling pups and they are saling them for 198 for two including shipping . the most i paid for a purebred was 175 and they were very healthy pups from different sellers. we took them to vet and everything seem perfect.

good luck with that…yorkies are generally more expensive than that. If you find one for what you're asking expect health problems….

The only place you are going to find a purebred Yorkie for that cheap is from a rescue. Good breeders do not sell their puppies for $150 because they spent a lot of money doing health testing on the parents to make sure they puppies they bring into this world don't have genetic defects. Any breeder who sells a $150 Yorkie is a breeder you should stay away from. Contact the Yorkie Club of America for breeder referral or for rescue. Expect to pay about $1000-2000 for a well bred dog.
The Cameroon thing is a scam. They steal your money, you don't ever get the puppies.

And as for "healthy" cheap puppies, they may not look sick when you take them to the vet, but they have a higher incidence of genetic disorder such as Luxating Patellas or Syringomyelia. A once over by a veterinarian isn't going to catch everything wrong. These problems develop over time, after you've gotten attached to your puppy. You'll save lots of money by not buying a bargain puppy that develops a genetic disease at age 2.

The people from camaroon are NOT selling puppies… they are scamming for money. It costs about $300 to ship a dog by air within the US.. it costs alot more than that to ship a dog over seas!.. Its a well-known scam.. they do not have ANY puppies.. you send them money, thinking you are getting a pup, and you get sent NOTHING!
The only place you will find a Yorkie that cheap is maybe thru a shelter or rescue.. http://www.petfinder.com

Look up one of the yorkie rescues online. Of course you will even pay them more but they're closer to your price range.

We are certainly in your area as we are located just outside of Beaumont. However, a reputable high quality breeder probably will not be able to assist you in your price range. That said, as suggested, there are several rescue centers in our area that would be quite helpful in placing a puppy or older dog with you. Be very careful of any ads offering free yorkies. These ads almost always take your shipping payment and you never receive a puppy. There is little or no recourse once it happens.
