i am looking for a Yorkshire terrier(yorkie) for sale,or if anybody wants to give one away for free, help.?
it does not have to be a register dog,but i dont want one that is mixed either.
If your looking for a purebred Yorkie.
It will have to be registered and from a breeder.
Average cost is $1,000
But a mixed one you could get from a shelter.
Average cost $200-$500

try petfinder.com. You can search by breed for adoptable dogs in your areas. Yorkies are pretty common, you should be able to find one. Alternatively, check local shelters.

Go to http://www.craigslist.com or http://www.petfinder.com or http://www.hoobly.com. I'm sure you'll find some on those sites. You won't get a purebred for free. You can also look in your local newspaper. They are pretty popular dogs.

If you can't afford to buy or adopt a dog, you should wait until you can because it isn't any cheaper once you own them.

There are many Yorkie rescue organizations out there. Some on the site are mixed, but BFD, they are wonderful pets! I have a full blooded Yorkie that I love as much as my Yorkie/Pomeranian or my Yorkie/Chihuahua!
Despite what the first poster said, you can get a full blooded Yorkie from a rescue organization!!!
I have adopted a Yorkie from one of these sites (can't remember which one). They do background checks, home visits and gather references.

Try a animal shelter by a city they often take dogs from people who where breding them but had to many or abused them. Or they have dogs that are half and half like "designer dogs". DON'T buy a dog when hundreds maybe thousands are killed every year in the US alone.
