I’ve got a shit sue and a yorkie my shit sue has special food she need to eat but my yorkie puppy eat it also. would that hurt him, my yorkie eating also Aims
Wellness from Petco, Blue Buffalo or Solid Gold from Petsmart. Nothing from your major chain grocery stores, they contain fillers, corn (which dogs shouldn't eat at all), and very substandard meat by products. Other high quality foods can be found at specialty pet stores, feed stores, or natural grocery stores.
Sure, a dog can live on foods like Pedigree or Iams, but they will not be as healthy as they could be. Do you really want to feed your dog ground up organ meat, toes, beaks or hooves? High quality foods may look more expensive, but your dog will feel full longer and eat less, so a bag of high quality food will last longer than cheaper food. They also do not contain fillers that are hard on a dog's digestive system, like corn. High quality foods also end up more pleasant coming out the other end… poo is smaller and hardly stinks at all, evidence that what goes in is very, very good for their system.

pedagree it’s reallly good stuff

Canidae or Innova dog food. They are probably the two best dog foods you can buy. Only real meat and no corn fillers. You can't buy them at petsmart because pets mart sucks try looking on their website then go to store locators. And please don't feed your dog people food. Things like garlic raw onions chocolate and grapes are bad for your dog.

Take a look at all of the 6 and 5 star rated dog foods and select your choice. By the way, Pedigree is rated a 1 star food which is horrible.

I assume the other dog you are referring to is a Shi Tzu……
Iams is not a good food, neither is Pedigree. Ideally for both dogs you want to feed a good grain-free diet, or one which only contains high-quality grains like brown rice and barley or oatmeal. Things that are BAD BAD BAD are corn, wheat, soy, and Animal by-products.
I dont know what kind of special food your other dog is on, but if it is for allergies, you would be surprised how they can be treated with a high-quality diet. You dog’s health in general will improve…shiny coat, no more bad breath, small compact stools. The little bit of extra money you spend is made up for it ten-fold in your pets overall health and longevity.

Please don’t feed Pedigree, it’s garbage. Go with Inova or Canidae. Anything made by Purina is junk food. Anything you can buy at the grocery store is junk. Spend a little more and get your dog a good dog food.

i highly recommend avoderm’s vegitarian formula if this is for sensitive stomachs…its a great brand of food in general and they have a really nice canned version of it also.
don’t feed your dogs alpo, pedigree, aims etc. the quality of those “foods” are terrible. know exactly what your dog is eating.
