What is the life span of a Yorkie Terrier with liver shunt?

And also what is th average cost of the surgery it requires?

It all depends on the severity of the shunt. In some cases, a restricted diet or even surgery can help. In more severe cases, there is nothing that can be done. Here are some websites for you to take a look at.

As far as the surgery goes, it depends on the case and the vet. : )

It will suffer for a while. And the cost for surgery would be about $2,500.
