I have a 3yr old yorkie. It seems he is intentionally peeing on my furniture! He usually goes outside but lately, He will just stand there outside, and not go. He will wait to come inside and then go! We have gotten a new dog, but I can't let this continue… What can i do?
If he didnt do it before you got the new dog he is likely doing it now because he feels his territory is threatened and he's making a statement to the newcomer; that this is his house.
When you catch him doing it clap your hands loudly and scold him. He needs to understand this is not acceptable, be sure he knows how displeased you are. If he doesnt like waer you could squirt him with a spray bottle It helps to keep a leash on him and keep him supervised until he stops. Also, if there is a particualr spot he likes to go, start to feed him there. Most dogs will not pee where they eat and it could discourage him from marking.

Neuter him, and make sure the other dog is spayed/neutered. He's marking territory, not urinating.
If it takes him an hour to pee outside then you need to be outside for an hour with him on a leash until he does pee.

Since you have a new dog your Yorkie is not peeing more like marking his territory. He is peeing on the furniture to tell the new dog that it is his. If not neutered i suggest that. I also suggest you start crate training – or keeping him out if the backyard is fenced in until he uses the bathroom. He will learn that if i don't pee i dont come in.

Catch him in the act and make a loud noise and he will jump right off..if u let him on the couch prior to when he is peeeing that has got to stop just make the couch off limits for the dogs…pay a little more attention to him he may be feeling jealous of the other dog so therfore he is acting out

Neuter him.
I put little pants on my male yorkie when he started doing that. And online google up Dog Belly Bands, they are like diapers for dogs.
