How Long Does a Yorkie Live and How Long Does a German Shepard Live?

I need 2 know when a Yorkie would die an i need 2 know when a German shepard would die.

It depends – if you treat them well, they might just gain a few extra years. German Sheperds live about 10-12 years – avarage dog life-span. But they have a bigger-than-avarage tendency to have hip dysplasia. My used-to-be dog, King the German-Sheperd, lived a short and ill life – seven years. However, it did had to do with the time he spend without walking or going out, he shrunk a bit and got ill.
Yorkies are smaller dogs, so their avarage life span must be bigger, like about 14. However, don't only trust the facts, because a premature\later death can be provoced in both breeds.

    Yorkies can live 13, 14, 15 years…

    GSDs 12, 13, 14…

Usually larger dogs have shorter lifespans.

That's a big question and there is no one who knows the answer. I prefer big dogs and I have had several GSD's. I am told that regardless of the size of a dog that their hearts are about the same size. As a consequence small dogs live longer because there is less strain on their hearts.

If GSD's dogs hearts were larger and in ratio to their size, perhaps their lives would be as long as Yorkies.(I wish)

I have known Yorkies who live a long and heathly life until they are aged eighteen. Unfortunately GSD's are considered old when they are just ten years of age. One of my GSD's was aged fourteen when she had to be PTS and a rescue GSD was seventeen years old. After she died I suspected that she was not a pure bred GSD. On the other hand one of my GSD's who had no signs of heath problems dropped dead at my feet when she was just six year old.

Who knows, children die in their infancy, young adults pop their clogs. Unfortunately there is no way of knowing how long our beloved dogs will live.

WHY do you "need to know"?

Do you "need to know" when your parents will die? – when your siblings will die?

Dogs very sensibly enjoy life as much and as long as they can.

I don't care for Yorkies, but in that size range the Pekingese is the hardiest & longest lived – its owner can expect it to be around for 18 years.
Individual mutts & purebreds who live longer than 18 years are exceptions to normal life expectancy.

I can't help you with the "German shepard" part – there is no such task as "ARDing" and so no breed was developed to perform that task.
Perhaps you meant the breed developed to HERD sheep, using the German boundary-patrolling method. If so you need to learn that the breed is the German Shepherd Dog – GSD for short.

I tell buyers of my pups that if they do everything right (fencing, feeding, vaccinations, socialisation, training) their pup will be alive at 1 year old. If it is is healthy at 1 year old it will live to 7 years old. If it is healthy at 7 years old it will live to 10 years old. If it is healthy at 10 years old it will live to 12 years old. From 12 to 15 years – 16 in exceptional cases – its remaining life is truly in the laps of the gods.
