YOU ARE VERY RIGHT…a GOOD healthy Yorkie SHOULD be 3 pounds and UP…YES, if a small Yorkie jumps off a couch the can break a leg…A good rule to remember is, IF a DOG can not JUMP UP ON ITS OWN on a couch or chair or whatever, then they should NEVER be allowed to jump off that item…TINKER BELL is TOO small, that is the reason we did not sell her…she is just too small for the average person…SHE really is only good for a carry around PURSE or LAP dog..YET Tinker Bell THINKS she is BIG..

I bought my wife a yorkie that was 1 pound 10 ounce full grown and you have to do everything for them. You have to watch them because they can break a bone just by jumping off a sofa. Too much to care for in my opinion. A healthy yorkie weight is maybe like 3 pounds.

Tinker Bell has a beautiful coat when she lets me groom her…she loves to run and bark and play outside, WHEN we can WATCH HER….SHE is the SMALLEST CHOCOLATE colored mutation, regisered Yorkie in the world…she weighs about 16 oz. and her nose it the size of a pencil eraser and she is completely FULL GROWN, NOT A PUPPY…the Clothes sold in the stores in size XXS are way too big for her…I sew all her clothes…

Teacup is a made up TERM…Tinker Bell is a very tiny fullgrown Yorkie…A VERY unusual Size being only one pound. Thank goodness she has NO health problems at all…BUT many small Yorkies do have 'sugar' problems and other serious problems. Tinker Bell is active, eats well and loves to run and bark and play! She gets fresh COOKED LEAN chicken breast daily..SPOILED!!!

Awsomely cute,my yorkie I got at the humaine society its hard to believe that he would be given up he was 3lbs 4oz vet said 2/3 cup food I did that he never finished so Istopped measuring and just went to a feed as dish was empty, brought him to vet and I was aware that his ribs werent as evident (filling out) -he porked up to a whopping,collosal 4 lbs doesnt sound like much but think of a 10 oz gain on a dog that size that was close to a 20% weight gain in 12 monthes sooo we're back to 2/3 cup

She is one of OUR …
She is one of OUR pups, she was almost the same size as the others in the litter, but then I noticed she was not growing the same when they were all 10 wks old, she weighed about 1/4 pound. She has been Vet checked out PERFECT…just super small. She is HEALTHY, no 'sugar problems' like many other small dogs have. WE have another Yorkie (a boy) that is just a tiny bit larger then her, he Might get to 2 lbs. Their Grandpa is less then 3 pounds-I do not own him, I bought 1 of his pups years ago
