No, you should not.

Like getting a dog from a pet store, getting a dog from a newspaper classified is a bad idea. Not only are you supporting the puppy mill or BYB behind it, but you are setting yourself up for a dog with health and behavior problems.

Find a reputable breeder in your area.

I wouldnt sell my puppies in stores or newspapers. So i wouldny buy from there either. I think you need to stop being selfish about this whole yorkie thing. If you cannot afford one then you cannot have one. If you are willing to save up at least $2000 or £1500 then you could have one. If you are not prepared to get a job and save and be patient then you obviously dnt wnt one tht bad.

No, not all newspapers will have ads for yorkies. It depends on 1) whether or not they have a pets section in their classifieds, and 2) if anyone is selling yorkies.

And I would be very wary of buying a dog from the classifieds section. Reputable breeders don't usually advertise in the paper… word of mouth is more than adequate for good breeders.

If you mean ads, no not every paper has that. Smaller community papers have limited pets listed. Fact is, the small AND the larger papers are only going to list ads that are paid for by people–if none have that breed of dog, then no ad for yorkies is going to be in there.

Ads are put in by people who have the dogs, it's a tossup as to what paper in your area would list them.
