Tea-Cup Yorkies For Sale?
My mom wants to start breeding them but first she wants to get one to see how difficult they are to take care of.
So if any of you come across any that are $200.00- $300.00 and they are willing to ship it, then answer this question for me.
It would save me a lot of time searching on the internet for them.
I have already went to a lot of different websites looking for them, and can't find any that is in my price range and are willing to ship.
Ok, for the people that are saying that she doesnt know anything about breeding dogs, well she is in the buisness of breeding Peekapoos. She just wants a new kind of dog to breed along with the Peekapoos because we just moved to a new house that has a wayyy bigger yard. And since she just bought a house, she doesnt want to spend like 1,000 bucks just on one dog.
I got a pedigree toy poodle from hoobly.com she was really cheap. Only $225. Some people will ship there stuff and others wont. good luck

There is a high risk of C Sections and deaths. Tell your mom to spend the next year or two studying breeding. Tell her to get a mentor and enter her dogs in shows before ever breeding them. Only show quality dogs should be purposely bred. All Yorkies are tiny. This Teacup crap is just what back yard breeders and puppy mills do to try and scam people out of money.

There is no such thing as a teacup, besides the ones you drink from. These dogs are just runts, and I HIGHLY doubt that you'll find one for $200-$300, backyard breeders are in it for the money, so they are not going to sell their sickly runts cheap. You are not going to find a healthy runt, and breeding will be even more dangerous for it.

Sure you can get one for $12.44 plus shipping here or get 3 and have free shipping. http://www.amazon.com/Fur-Real-Friends-Teacup-Pups/dp/B000XU872U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1223425558&sr=1-2
Teacup anything are poorly bred runts riddled with health problems bred by BYB. Since your mom want to breed a breed she apparently knows nothing about this is the only dog she needs

Tell your mom to enter the dog in some contests first, to get its name better known, and then breed it with another champion dog. This will help ensure that they get good homes. She should also get a breeding permit.
Tea-Cup Yorkies are runts. There is no such thing, but it is a cute name. Basically, you can't breed them on purpose. You can breed Yorkies, but not Tea-Cups.
Good luck!

1. There's no such thing as a "teacup" anything. That is a term used by irresponsible breeders to sell unhealthy runts for a high price tag. These dogs often have serious health issues as a result of poor breeding practices and many only live a few years.
2. The only place you will find a Yorkie for that price is thru a shelter or rescue, and it will most likely be spayed and neutered. Yorkies are not cheap to breed, they often need cecarians, which can easily cost $1,000-3,000 and they often only have 1-3 pups.
3. You certainly wont find a breeding quality yorkie for your price. I would expect to pay around $1200-1600 for a PET quality one.. and well over $2,000-3,000 for a breeding quality one.
4. Breeding is not cheap or easy. There's the expence of dog shows to earn its CH title, which includes classes, hiring a handler, travel expenses and entry fees. There are many genetic health tests that need done, some of which cost several hundred to do. Stud fees, prenatal care, etc.. Yorkies can be quite expensive to breed.
If your mom would just be satisfied with a happy little spayed or neutered pet, you can find one for a few hundred thru a shelter or rescue.. http://www.petfinder.com

Your mother wants to start breeding dogs before she even really knows how to care for one? Breeding shouldn't be a hobby someone just picks up to earn a bit of cash on the side, because there's so much research and testing involved. As hard as that might be to hear and as harsh as this may seem, there is a huge pet overpopulation problem going on right now and people who are irresponsibly breeding dogs (particularly "teacup" and "designer breed" ones) are not helping, but adding to this problem by producing litters of dogs without having any idea about the genetics and health concerns involved.
If she's really interested in breeding, she should attend a few dog shows and talk with the owners. Talk with the people who have champions and healthy specimens, rather than the genetic ticking-time bombs that are backyard bred dogs.
EDIT: The answerer above me really knows what they're talking about. Pay attention to them, because they're right on the money.

There are like 10 things wrong with this question. I am a yorkie owner/lover and get really tired of seeing people try to make a business out of these precious animals without knowing a thing about them or breeding. I've seen too many questions on here from people that cant afford these dogs or the expense of breeding them, but are hoping someone will sell them a quality dog for next to nothing so they can risk the dog's life to try and make a profit. If you feel it takes too much time searching the internet for a yorkie, you're definitely not ready to breed them. Google is a cake walk compared to the time and money it takes to become a GOOD breeder.

There is no such thing as a teacup which shows that she should not be breeding dogs. For information about the breed and this teacup thing go to this site.
