It doesn't need to be showring quality..I just want it for companioship. It must be healthy and beautiful though. I live in Mississippi and I can't travel out of state to get one. So I need to find one somewhere in my area. I might travel to Alabama depending on what part of the state the breeder was located in.
You will not get a young yorkie puppy for under $300. It may be possible to get one that is older from a previous litter. If you get onto the web, look for breeders in your area. Otherwise, you can keep your eyes open for the shelters. Yorkies tend to be expensive though… Call the following breeders to see about older puppies that are available for a cheaper price.

If none of these work for you, consider doing your own search using a more exact location. Even then consider a cheaper breed. Yorkies will need grooming, which can be expensive.
Go to shelther, they always have nice dogs there and dont cost a lot of money

Check out a dog kennels (homeless shelter), or ask to go on their list if they don't have any in, so they will call you if one does.
Yorkshire terriers cost alot more than $300 even from a puppy mill, try puppyfind.com, I actually saw one on there for $300 but it was in kansas.
