P.S. FYI I have looked plenty, I said I was looking for a good breeder. I don’t care for the quantity of breeders I am looking for quality Breeders. Like I said I have done my research, & the first 3 people’s answers suck! It was not what I ask for at all, they should have never answered.

There you go. And I agree, you must not have looked very hard. A 5-second Google search will lead you to the official yorkie club site in the U.S., which has any info you’d need on finding a breeder.
Does anyone have any breeders they’d recommend in the North-Eastern US for any of the 3 breeds named?
I plan on looking at rescues, shelters, and the parent clubs; but I figured some people on here [hopefully my contacts! haha] would know a breeder or two they would recommend.

That’s the AKC breed rescues.
When you go to the parent club they usually have a link for rescue.
When we were looking for a dog I typed in Golden Retriever Rescue in New England for example and found a few places in which I bet you could do too but with your state. Also, if you type in the breed in petfinder you can also find some breed rescues. (Though I bet you know that)

I’ve been looking for a Yorkshire Terrier for the longest time, and have had no luck so far. I’m trying to find one to adopt, but i’m starting to believe that’s impossible these days.

There is a HUGE dog show in Calgary the long week-end in August. At the same site there is the Toy Specialty. I can guarantee you there will be Yorkie breeders there.
It’s at Shouldice Park, the show is Fri thru to Monday, but the Toy Specialty is Saturday.

They don’t have yorkshire terriers in my animal shelters, whenever they get those type of ‘fancy dogs’, they are generally out in less then two weeks.
Meaning people buy them, not that they kick them out

if you decide to buy from a breeder……… whatever breeder you buy it from. make sure they dont inbreed or linebreed ask to see papers on both parents n the pup.you might be paying more in vet bills then you do for the pup.make sure you get a shot record thats signed by a vet so you know the pups seen a vet.its your choice on what you do.goodluck.
