Each of our family raised puppies comes with a written one year health guarantee, AKC (American Kennel Club) registration papers and a puppy care package. They have been well socialized by my family and are used to kids.

Responsible breeders do NOT advertise in the newspaper.
Contact the breed's parent club. They will be happy to help you:

Check with the AKC breeder classified. Make sure that you actually go and see the puppy before you buy it. There are way too many puppy mills and backyard breeders out there waiting to sell you an unhealthy puppy from over-bred parents!

Check http://www.puppyfind.com. Once you've clicked on the breed, you can also specify the location. I hope you've done all the research on yorkies. They're an adorable but tricky breed. Depending upon the breeder, there can be many congenital health problems that are not always obvious to a rookie. Be sure you are given the time to have the pup checked out by your vet for those problems. The smaller they are, the more expensive they are. Believe it or not, I love the breed and have owned them and previously bred them for 20 years. They steal your heart….and the vet often gets your money!!!
Good luck!!
P.S. Lots of scam artists out there offering them for sale for next to nothing and after you send the money…..that's right….you get nothing. If you can find a breeder nearby, insist on going to their home/kennel and seeing how the pups/dogs have been raised. If they won't allow it, you don't want it.
