I will go into more detail then before. Yes I can afford another dog. I am asking because some people don't know what to do with a dog, for instance if they are going into a home or sick or was given the dog by someone else. This is a good place to look for a dog because it hits alot of people. I am looking to rescue a dog if needed. Like I previously stated I am waiting on a rescue group now. I am also willing to take any other needy dogs. I am not just looking for a free pet. I said I have a lonely yorkie here already so yes I do know how much it will cost! I thank all the people who responded to my last question but you did not read what I had written.
Craigslist.org is a better place to post, although it's got its fair share of scammers. This is more of a forum for questions and answers about dogs in general, rather than for a specific area.

have you tried http://www.petfinder.com there are lots of yorkies and small dogs for adoption

Check your local rescues and see about fostering. Your dog will get a temporary friend and the rescue will keep the help it needs. Most rescues will let you pick size of dog. As each foster finds a home bring a new one in. I know it sounds hard to give a pup up but it is rewarding to know you helped.
