What breed do you think my dog is?
Her name is Jasmine Nicole and she was a pound rescue. They thought she was a Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua mix. But my vet disagreed and said she is a Yorkshire Terrier/Border Terrier mix. Her hair is mostly short and somewhat coarse with the exception of her head which is soft and long. She is very skinny with long legs. Only 8lbs at 2 years of age. What do you guys think?

I think she is absolutely ADORABLE. Who cares if she is half dinosaur? Just love her, train her & take great care of her.

maybe a silky terrier x jack russell a bit of maltese dunno sorry ask the vet next time you go into town

Definitely yorkie, but I don't see any chihuahua. Border terrier is more likely, but it could be something else she's mixed with. She's a super cute dog, though. It could be that she mostly looks like her yorkie parent.

other than that i wouldn't know….i could see the chihuahua possibility, but i would think she would have less hair.

Thanks for rescuing her! She does look like a Yorkie/Border Terrier. It is possible that she could have some chihuahua in her.

If her fur ir coarse I'd say your vet is right, and she's yorkshire/border terrier. A yorkie/chihuahua mix would have silky hair all over. And - she's adorable!

It looks like a yorkie/chihuahua mix. Definitely part yorkie. Whatever it is, it's beautiful.
