What kind of Terrier dog is this?
This is SPYRo and we rescued him from some awful owners. After defleaing him, shots and a good grooming, this is what he looks like. I was told by the people he is a yorkshire terrier, but think he looks more like a silky terrier….What do you think?
He is about 10lbs and 1.5 yrs old(smaller than my cocker spaniels). Thank You

To me he looks like a Silky, they're slightly larger than Yorkies, and they have a longer nose like your dog does. Alot of people mix them up, which is easy to do. He is beautiful, though, no matter what kind he is. You did a good thing by saving him from neglectful, irresponsible owners.

To me he looks like a Silky, they're slightly larger than Yorkies, and they have a longer nose like your dog does. Alot of people mix them up, which is easy to do. He is beautiful, though, no matter what kind he is. You did a good thing by saving him from neglectful, irresponsible owners.

He looks to be a Yorkie/Schnauzer. The coat hair is smooth like a Schnauzer with the silky smoothness and the face and little bit of a beard. also a yorkie with the 2 toned color of the tan face, belly and legs, but the silver on the back.

I work at a vet's office and I see a lot of dogs and I have to decide what kind of a mix it is!! lol, sometimes they are pretty hard!
To me he looks like a silky terrier/ schnauzer mix. He is a very cute dog though!! : ) You did a wonderful thing saving him like you did!! You sound like a great person.. keep up the good work! lol! : )

I had a dog that looks alot like yours and it was a Schnauzer/Mix. Best little girl in the world…..Yours is BEAUTIFUL .take care and enjoy!
