I have a small Yorkshire Terrier who is very fussy about her food so she only eats fresh meat. Most of her teeth are missing. ( We rescued her from a animal shelter, don’t ask.) And she only eats fresh meat. I want to add some vegetables to her meat so i was just wondering wat sort. I would usually steam them so they are soft for her gums and teeth.
Thanks guys these answers are really good so far! I was also wondering (because she is old) if there are any vegies to help her as she ages?
My dogs love to eat carrots, potatoes, broccoli, zucchini, peas, tomatoes (i know, its a fruit), and green beans.

I definitely know onions are a definite no.

Potatoes, carrots, green beans, yams and pumpkin (high in fiber). These are all great, make sure they are fresh (no sodium/seasoning).

Fresh meat is good for her. You could add carrots and peas and if your just feeding her this you could add a little oatmeal or brown rice as well.
Contact your vet and they could probably recommend a good diet for fussy eaters to make sure she gets all her vitamins and minerals.

I give my Chihuahua carrots and rice all the time, which are very good for dogs. Carrots are easy to eat after they have been cooked and mashed up. Rice is also a good thing to feed your dog if they get a touch of diarrhea, helps to stick things back together down there

Try most vegetables except onions and mushrooms. Fresh meat mixed with a little cooled rice and some veggies would be a very nutritious meal for her, add a pinch of garlic once in awhile and at other times add a little (1/4) tsp veg or canola oil once a week for her coat..
