Yorkie Health?
I wanted to know if it is safe to pick a yorkie up during pregnancy. As i know that if you are not experienced that you should not palpate a dog as this could injure mom or pups. ( I def. wont do this myself as i believe this is solely the vet or experienced breeders job). My question is, is this the same for picking them up as well? Also, I know they say in the 4th week to eliminate activity (lessen). How do i get my yorkie to stop jumping off the couch, bed etc. when yorkies are active as it is. Any suggestions????

ok it should be ok just keep her jumping to a minumuim and when you pick her up don't squezz her belly also if you are selling the pupps plz contact me with the price or whatever lookin for a new dog
and about the bed thats pretty hard I would just carry her alot or keep her in her cage. she most likely won't wanna do anything anyways

I have raised yorkies for 14 years and have not had a problem with picking them up when they are pregnant. I don't pick them up around the middle but support under the chest and hindquarters. Enjoy your new additions.
