Yorkshire Terrier Peeing Everywhere When Staying With Friends?

I have a 10 month old Yorkshire Terrier who is house broken when I'm around but seems to forget everything when I have to let him stay with friends. He drips everywhere he goes and will urinate where ever he pleases when he sleeps away. Thankfully he doesn't poop but he just ruined my friends suede couch. Any suggestions on the cause or how to fix it?

You or your friends need to house train him all over again at your friend's house. He isn't forgetting anything – you just haven't shown him the right place to go when you leave him there.

He could also be marking his new 'territory', something I have seen very well house trained adults do!

he is just unsure of where an appropriate place to go is, he needs to be shown where to go, and a way to do this is to watch him and if he seems to be sniffing around like he is looking for a place to pee then imediatly take him out doors of to a puppy pad or what ever is being used, he may also be a bit uncomfortable in the new enviorment and taking something from your home that is "his" will help him stay at ease and prevent him from feeling the need to pee.
