Are Yorkshire Terriers good pets for two busy people?

My in-laws have four yorkies. They are four of the sweetest dogs i've ever met. They do bark when people come in the house but they settle down really quick. They are so adorable! especially when they're puppies. I think they're wonderful pets.

What do you mean by busy? Will you be gone hours at a time and the dogs will be left alone? If so, don't get dogs. They are social animals and need attention. Terriers are tough. They will need a lot of training, a lot of patience on your part and if not trained properly, they will bark like crazy. Go on line and plug in Yorshire Terriers. You will be able to find many sites on their that can tell you what they require. Also, they require a lot of grooming.

my next door neighboors have 3 yorkies, they are lovely little things but they bark alot, every time something walks near the house or if my dog is in our garden. it was quite annoying but double glazing sorted the problem (we didnt get it because of the dogs) some might not bark if you can train them not to. they are great with kids (next door have 4 kids)
