How much are Yorkshire Terriers from a Dogs home?

Hi does anyone know how much Yorkshire Terriers(puppy) are from a dogs home?

Our local rescue asks for a donation of £80 for all dogs.

Why do you want one from a rescue centre? No rescue centre is going to allow you to purchase a Yorkie from them because they usually contact breed rescue who then give them to foster parents to assess!!. If you are lucky to find one you will pay a nominal fee, the rescue societies leave it up to you?
I would suggest you allow at least £150 as the rescue societies, no matter who they are need this?
One thing to remember is that you will not own her/him just adopted by you.
You can buy a KC registered Yorkie for about £250 so why not put your name down on the good Yorkie Breed society List? Be patient, It won't be long before you have your, puppy, and its KC registered!! Vet checked, and first vaccination given, and bought from a reputable, responsible breeder? I did this and never looked back.

my new site is replacing my old msn site which is was to hard to make changes. So decided to use Yahoo which was reccommended to me and all of this information will be answered if someone asks. We will aim to be as honest as possible, and hopefully those that ask will not buy from a puppy farmer which could be so distressing.
