Is Yorkshire Terriers Hard to Housetrain?

We might get one that is 6 months old ; we're not sure if he is housetrained if he isn't should he be hard to housetrain? If it matters, we have 2 other dogs and 3 cats.
Thanks.

Like any other breed, it's up to you to be consistant, and take the dog outside, "even when you think he/she does not have to go". Even if he/she does not do anything, it's the scents of outside that will become more familiar for him/her to mark. Always praise a puppy when they go outside too. And, in the beginning, put down paper, if you need to in small area. It's up to you however, to keep on top of it, soon, your puppy will know to do his/her business, outside, not inside. Crate training is also a good idea, but it should never be a negative area for the dog.
