This female yorkshire terrier puppy tends to be on the shy side she is very quiet and passive. She is 32oz and her favorite passtime is to lay in your lap and have her belly scratched. She loves to wrap her little paw around you and give lots of kisses as well. She would make a beautiful yorkshire terrier breeder female. She has a lot of tiny genetics behind her. Her mother and grandmother always where wonderful producers of litters that had 5 to 6 yorkshire terrier puppies per litter. She is AKC reg and warranted.

A friend of mine is emigrating and has asked me to adopt her 12month old yorkshire terrier (YT). It’s a female dog. I’m not sure about doing so as I’ve heard and read a lot about ongoing health problems and issues in pedigree dogs. Can any YT owners advise me of any health issues I need to know about this particular breed. Thanks
Hello, all dog breeds are prone to certain health conditions. With yorkies, they are generally healthy, though we can never tell when and what health problems will occur in the future. It’s really important to be aware of them. For health info about yorkies, check out this site:

hi my little minature yorkshire terrier LOVES playing the game were i hold on to one end of the rope and he pulls the other end he growls so loud for such a little dog lol anyway i was told that yorkshire terriers loves pulling rope games is this true? and the other Q was my other dog is a jack russel and sometimes he pulls the other end and he growls to there not fighting are they there just playing correct???
Yeah I've heard that somewhere too

i want a yorkshire terrier….how much do they cost? are they easy to potty train? are they overall good dogs? they are so darn cute. if someone has one could you just tell me a jist of how they are as pets. thanks
I have a nine month old girl yorkie, shes the most loving dog you could ever meet. She is great with children and very good company, you can get Yorkie's from about £250 in the UK it really depends on where you look.
I have had German Shepherds and Old English Sheepdogs before but my yorkie is really more loving and fun than both of these breeds.
Its really personal choice but I would recommend a yorkie.

how long they bleed?
Usually 3-4 weeks. Keep her away from ALL male dogs – intact or not and after this heat, make an appointment with the vet to get her spayed. It's much better for her health and will guarantee that you won't have any unwanted pregnancies, which could lead to death if she escapes and mates with a large dog.

Enough to have occasional surgery???
'cause i looked at honest reviews about Yorkshire Terriers and they dont mention really serious health problems..
I have a yorkie and she's pretty healthy. One of her knees pops easily in and out of the socket. It doesn't bother her now but it might later which would be when we'd have to consider surgery. I don't think it's a very common problem, and it wouldn't stop me from getting another. I think some also have dental problems because their teeth are so small. Mine had to have two of her teeth pulled as a pup because she had 2 sets of the same tooth which she had inherited from her grandfather.
The breed is really great though… Sweet, small, and so cuddly. I don't think I'd ever get another breed.
